Here’s a view outside my window. I’m not sure what kind of trees these are but some of the time they’re pretty...most of the time they’re messy. They appear to be a spring time home to some sort of caterpillar...evidenced by the small, yet sticky, black specks that blanket my Tiguan in early spring. They grow cherries that feed resident squirrels...evidenced by the seed husks left inside Tiigs motor. Mostly they grow these by the billions.
Affectionately known as “Dinosaur foot prints”...these little things find their way into every nook and cranny in our home and cars. So, along with the coming of spring...beautiful buds will cover these trees and thus will begin another season of dreaded “Dinosaur foot prints”. What’s this have to do with sewing? Nothing...just a picture of the beautiful day we’ve experienced here in Ladner.
